Manchester United welcome their arch-rivals Manchester City to Old Trafford next weekend for what promises to be a cracker of a match. The historic rivalry between the two sides means that these are always fiery encounters filled with incident and controversy. City have started the season so well primarily due to the fantastic form of Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Dzeko. Sergio Aguero has been a revelation since his arrival from Atletico Madrid for £38 million in the summer. David Silva has been wreaking havoc against opposition defences all season by cutting in from the right wing on his left foot, meaning that there are numerous opportunities as he drifts into the final third to play the kind of reverse ball that all strikers thrive on. Dzeko has also been scoring freely, meaning that City have hardly missed their previous captain and talisman Carlos Tevez since he stated his desire to leave the club and was consequently sidelined. His temper tantrum in Munich was a step too far and it looks unlikely that he will ever play for the club again.
In this match I think I would probably predict a draw as both teams are in such fine form at the moment that they may well cancel each other out.
